St Kitts

We decided to go on a little vacation to St Kitts. St Kitts is located in the eastern Caribbean 1,200 miles from Miami and 45 minutes by plane to Peurto Rico and the US virgin islands. The island is 69 square miles with a population of 31,880. The main industry used to be sugar cane, but has recently became tourism.

Dahlin found St Kitts on the internet, and the reviews of secluded, long, golden beaches enticed us to give it a try. Secluded beaches we got! Every beach we went to, excluding the beach with our hotel on it, was completely empty. It was SO beautiful! With so many different beaches! Dahlin's dream come true!! In my opinion it was a little to secluded, but apparently we chose the very quietest month to visit. September is the peak of hurricane season in the Caribbean, luckily we had beautiful, perfect weather the whole time we were there.

We stayed at the Marriott resort which was beautiful!
