Ethan and Lindsay got married in Kelowna on August 16th. Naturally, we packed up and took a quick break, in the middle of Tally, to headed to Kelowna for a few days. It was SO beautiful!
When we went last year for the half marathon we never ventured far from down town... boy did we ever miss out! I can not believe this little piece of paradise is part of Canada, it felt almost tropical! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wished we could have made it more of a vacation... but of course Dahlin was itching to get back. (although he did somehow manage to go waterskiing several times while in Kelowna)
The wedding was BEAUTIFUL! They did it at a The Cove hotel, which was amazing! The ceremony was lovely, and the bride and groom both looked breathtaking. We are beyond thrilled to officially be able to welcome our first ever sister in law into our family. Lindsay is completely perfect and fits in great! Seriously I couldn't have picked a more perfect match myself!
Syler got to be the ring bearer, although he didn't actually carry the rings, consequently he felt little jipped, but he did SO great! If the bride had been any less gorgeous he totally would have stole the show ;)!!! Carley and Dani were the flower girls and they also did great! They seriously were all sooo cute!!
Laiken and Jack were also adorable, they dressed to match Syler. Dahlin says they all looked like gay ice cream sales men... but I thought they were the cutest things going. Unfortunately this was pretty much the peak of Laikens nose picking stage so it was virtually impossible to get a picture without his finger in his nose.
THANKFULLY he seems to be over this!!
The Saturday following the wedding we spent the day exploring Kelowna. It was so fun and I definetly think I could have spent at least a week there. Maybe next year!!
We loved it! It was nice to have all the family together at such a fun location!!
