10 months

Last week Huxley took his first steps. One of the things I love most about Hux is that he is so expressive. Ever since Hux was a couple of months old he has shown his emotions . He flaps his arms and squeals in delight. When Hux took his first steps on Wednesday he was so delighted with himself. I wish we had it on tape so I could watch it over and over again.

-At 10 months he has 2 bottom teeth and 1 top tooth with the other one just about through. He is a good little teether, he gets a little fussy but nothing over the top.
-He sleeps like a champ at home, but doesn't do fantastic on the road. Which has put a little damper on our summer. But we are working through it. He takes one nap in the morning and one in the afternoon and goes to bed at 8:00.
-He eats really well. He likes baby food, which is new for us as the older two boys really weren't into it. But he likes to have a little something on his tray to pick up himself.
-He likes to play with blocks and pull everything off of any shelf that he can reach.
-He loves being outside, and already hates to be left behind by his brothers.
-He is a happy, carefree little guy most of the time.

Being a mom

Huxley is 10 months and taking his first steps. He is getting SO B I G. Saying that I love him soooo much feels drastically understated, he really is the sweetest boy!! He is such a mommas boy. Sometimes when he looks up at me I feel like the luckiest mom in the world. I hope that everyone gets to know that feeling, the feeling of being loved unconditionally and wholeheartedly. Being a mom to three little boys is busy and demanding and every now and then I feel like I am going so crazy that I might just pull out every strand of my hair, but then one of them looks at up at me and for a second I see how much they love me and I know how lucky I am.
