Basseterre, St Kitts

We really wanted to get a few things for the boys while we were in St Kitt. It was crazy though because we didn't come across anyone selling stuff. So we actually had to asked around and the word on the street was that every Friday a cruise ship ports and then everything in the market opens up. So we headed to Basseterre, the capital of St Kitts, in the morning to do a little shopping. It was crazy, the town was super busy and it was a totally different feeling that day then it had been the rest of the week. I don't feel like people coming off the cruise ship would have had an accurate experience of St Kitts at all. It felt like any other touristy destination, which was not at all what it was like.
It also gave Dahlin the opportunity to get some local grub, which is totally up his alley. Just a bunch of meat BBQing in the middle of no where.

Regardless we found a few things, and by the end of the day we were happy to leave to our quiet beaches and get away from the hustle and bustle.

The rest of the day we spent playing at our beach. By this time we thoroughly enjoyed the seclusion of it!
