Syler started Grade 1 this year. His teacher is Miss Mcleod. She is pretty young, this is her third year teaching. She seems very nice though and Syler really enjoys her.
Syler is a little disappointed as not one of his friends is in his class, we tried to get him switched but the principal wasn't into it. So we are making the best of it. Syler makes friends pretty easily so i think it will be fine. So far he has came home from school every day super happy so hopefully that continues. I hate sending him to school everyday though, it seems like so much! We are definitely still adjusting to the schedule, hopefully it will get easier as the year goes on.
Laiken really misses him this year though. I think it is worse cause the weather has been so crappy that we haven't been able to take Huxley outside so we have been very house bound. Hopefully next week the snow will stop and we will get the rest of summer!
